I am a retired medical oncologist. I have been treating cancer patients in the United States for decades. Initially this website was built when some of my friends or relatives wanted to search for information about cancer diagnosis and treatment. Over the years, it became clear that many patients, including mine, found the website useful. As cancer treatment has advanced rapidly, many would like to know the new advancement in this field. Personally, I find it a joy to be able to give back to the society.
This is a reference website, based on medical evidence and published data. The goal is to provide information about diagnosis and treatment of common tumors, typical cases and personal experience. The focus is on early or curable tumors, in a hope that the curable cases have optimal outcome. Fort late-stage patients, the goal is to reduce pain and prolong quality lives. New development and concept in cancer research are also part of the update in view of numerous drugs and treatment modality in recent years.
Readers’ questions about tumor treatment will be answered as appropriate; some of the questions will be selected and replied online.
